Official Modding Guide on Steam (Updated 10 July 2017, somewhat outdated)
Most mods will provide instructions for installation. Then make sure to put the file into the modded folder. To install Manually, Find the mod on the nexus or another Darkest Dungeon modding site and download the file. To install from the steam workshop, just find the mod on the page you want and then click subscribe. One way is through the steam workshop and the other is the manual installation method. There are currently two methods of installing mods.
While that doesn't mean go out and get 'Unlimited Stacks!' which allows you to stack up to 999 of all items, having something that makes quest items, logs, and hierlooms stack to a higher value is a needed quality of life change, imo.*This page is under construction and may fuse with the Modding article in the future. the reality of it is that all it does is make the game more tedious, forcing the player to do more runs to collect the required amount of resources to build the next building or purchase the next upgrade. While some may argue that having such limited inventory space forces you to consider the potential value of certain objects and make difficult decisions on what you should keep in your bags and what you should drop by the wayside. The lack of stacking of quest items and campfire logs combined with the low stack value of Heirlooms (3/6/6/12) is just painful. Go through the workshop and simply go find skins you find interesting looking and download them. No longer will you employ an army of clones that simply have slightly different tastes in color selection. With out changing any single part of the core game - these mods makes it a lot easier to pick out which heroes you want to send on specific missions because they will visually look different then every one else.
